WHY do I want this & WHO is it For?
This diagram is an exercise for Petpreneuers who trying to find new opportunities at their “Bliss Point” – work that they are both passionate about, and likely to make make money from!
WHAT is it?
A diagram for identifying where your next exciting & money-making business opportunities might be hiding.
HOW do I use it?
It’s a basic Ven diagram: print it and fill it in!
If it’s easier, you can start brainstorming in another document, create a list of things you’re passionate about ‘selling’ – talking about, creating, researching, eating-sleeping-and-breathing… Then make a list of things you’re quite sure your ideal client needs (will solve problems they have and fulfill a desire) and most importantly, is willing to PAY for. Circle the things that appear on both lists and copy them accordingly into the diagram.
Anything else I need to know?
When trying to identify what your market might “need and be willing to pay for” it’s a good idea to use DATA – not just your own assumptions. Starting-points can be looking back at past sales to see what is popular, listening online to what your target market is saying / buying / asking for or doing a survey to find out more information.
